Tried looking for my code in other places didn't find the answer. So a new posting sorry if this is posted somewhere else. I got a P205C-001 Code replaced the DEF tank with this

I went to two diesel shops both wanted over $600.00 to repair. Part was $141 so did it myself, not to hard. After a couple of trips of about 10 miles engine check light reset, vehicle ran and does run fine. Today engine check light came back on same code as before. Any ideas?
Mine did that and I had to replace the DEF nozzle. That repair wasn't cheap. had to have the dealer do it because I waited till I was limited to 50 MPH. It tool 3 tries for the light to reset
Unfortunately I don't remember what or if I had a code for the DEF injector issue. I've had both repairs (DEF heater) as well. Injector was $350. Except mine had dried DEF on the exhaust tips when parked. It also caused it to smoke, for reasons I can't explain, during active regeneration between 600°F - 900°F and smelled horrible. Not saying this is your issue, just going to have to diag more parts of the DEF system.

Did you have the same code? I have P205C-001. Everything I checked says it should be the DEF heater. Some people believe it could be the DEF pump. Puzzle is my check engine light went out after changing DEF heater. Then came back on again after a several days. The truck still doesn't have any speed restrictions.
The DTC does seem to be specifically related to the tank. Attached some documentation if you haven't already looked through it, page 8 is the brief section on P205C. What is your DEF level?
