I ‘think’ this is with the 363/68sxe turbo and AIS intake.
I guess a decent test would be to get a tune and see where I land. But I think the bad MAP sensor would screw me. Could test it either way. I got a Ts-6 and a local shop that could give me some tunes for 75 first and $40 a piece after.

I know you already have the TS but hear me out…

How many tunes you planning on getting?
$75 + ($40x5=$200) = $275
A new Hydra can be had for $300 and you have unlimited access to the PHP library of tunes. The chip has a resell or reuse value because you can do all the ‘burning’ yourself.

If the local guy writes his own tunes and you respect his work that’s different.
If you only plan on getting 1-2 that’s different as well.
But if you plan on loading it up I would pay the extra $25.

thank you for that info, I had no idea it was $300 for the library, I thought you still had to pay for individuals. Good to know.

Free access to the stock injector library. That’s all the hex codes and can be used on OBS or SD. Makes for a very versatile chip.

Nothing wrong with an old TS, just wouldn’t want to spend very much fooling with it at this point.

The great thing about the Hydra is the ability to load the tunes yourself with a windows pc.
Then if you want ‘custom’ tunes later the tuner can send them to you by email instead of sending the chip out by mail.

.
Thats great info. Thanks again.
The last time I messed with tuning was 2015. So I'm still a little in the dark on them.. Even with my 6.4 and cummins i just had shops here in town just do a singular custom tune for deletes and towing.

There's something weird that my brain does every time I till my crop into the ground. My whole body tells me not to do it because the crop is already growing and its the exact opposite of what I'm trying to do to take a perfectly good crop and sacrifice it for the good of the next.

Beautiful pic. What did you till and why? How many acres do you farm?

Its in western Colorado. Its 350 acres, 300 of it is established and growing a good grazing field grass. Started this 50-60 acre field last year with just leveling it, disks, compact, and creasing. Planted tall fescue and just didn't want to grow well. Even with good fertilizer. Had to till that in this spring and then start whole process over again this time with an oats assortment. Did alot better but will just have to keep tilling and rotating crops to keep nitrogen in the soil untill its established. Then start all over again in 6-10 years. The high alkaline soil here is a mother. Luckily we get alot of irrigation water to help wash it out of the soil. Wich is really good because we get about 2 inches of rain here a year.

What's weird is that it's so hit and miss. Some of the ground grows WAY better than the other. And it can be less than 100ft away. In comparison. We had this 50-60 acre field that is hard to establish. But 100ft away we have another one that was established the same time, its 15 acres. The 15 acre field produced 25 1ton bales of hay, it was very dense. The 50-60 acre produced 45. So 4 times as much field produced only 40% or so more.

Alot of people are doing hemp here (not Cannabis, cannabis has a higher THC level and has to grown in doors and gov is at your property regularly). But we were late to the party and its way too regulated now and EVERYONE did it. Now there's such a supply, and regulation that it just doesn't pay enough. And because everyone switched to it hay is WAY more expensive because all the hay fields are filled with hemp. A 50lb bale was $3 at the beginning of 2019. Its $12 now. But they have to rotate as well, they'll do hemp 1 to 2 years, which puts ALOT of nitrogen into the soil. Then grow corn wich takes ALOT of nitrogen to grow, then an alfalfa, then start hemp again.

Kind of weird but not unusual at all. In all of my gardens over the years, some plants do better than others only a few inches away from each other. Tree lines the same thing. It probably sounds odd but when I see a planted tree line, I actually look for differences in growth rates, they usually have them. What's really weird is how one guy can sink a well and hit water at 15' but the next door neighbor has to go down hundreds of feet to get his.

Member's Mark is a distinguished Kentucky bourbon.

But it is also the generic house brand of random sundries at Walmart.

So no, you're not the only peasant in the room confused by the mixed message.
