Cab light install MY2016

I'm in the process of sourcing all the parts to install factory Ford cab lights.

Unfortunately the wiring harness PN: GC3Z-15A404-S is nationally backordered with no expected restock date. I'm really not interested in aftermarket. What are my options here? Does Ford sell the individual connectors that plug into the lights? If so I could make my own harness potentially.

Thanks for any help/insight.

Yeah they make them but you’re better off getting a aftermarket set. I think they run 30 bucks per connector. I had to buy some for my dually fenders a d I think the 4 connectors ran 75 bucks after the discount. With out discount it was $20 something each.

Ridiculous that parts for a 2016 are already discontinued. Especially since I just bought a 2016. Will be interested in what you do, my truck needs cab lights also.

I have been interested in doing the OEM route myself and found the same issue with the discontinued parts. I have thought about pulling a harness from junkyard if I can find one that had factory clearance lights. One guy I found on FB marketplace that was parting out a truck wanted over $200 for the factory harness. F that! I think I might just go the aftermarket route...

Any chance you have the part number for the connector? I can't find it anywhere.

Edit: Actually I think I found it. Motorcraft WPT 1304. Will probably end up buying 5 of these and making my own.

Just an FYI to the OP that part number is not discontinued. Dont know who told you that it's just on back order like a lot of parts. Theres also 16 ford dealers in the country that show it in stock.

Yes, you are correct. They're nationally backordered. I tried a few including Tasca and 2 other online Ford parts dealers, all of which listed it as "In Stock". They all got back to me saying they couldn't source it.
