Hey all,
I'm going to be doing the cab clearance light install on my 1995 F-150 once the warm temperatures start showing up again. I've been trying to acquire all the parts i need and so far I've come up completely empty handed with the wiring harness that runs from behind the passenger kick panel up the the roof. I can get the pigtails for each bulb, the lights themselves and the bulbs but I cant for the life of me find the harness. (Part # F2TZ-15A404-A) Ebay and Amazon have nothing that I've seen, Ford dealers around me (3 of them) have all told me the part doesn't exist anymore and that they cant get it. If anyone has one they would be willing to sell, or if they could point me in the right direction to getting one, it would be greatly appreciated!
Your best bet is a Pick A Part. The harness cost me all of $3 or $4.
I forgot to mention, I've been to both scrapyards in town. They have none of these older models around. Even people here that are parting them out don't have the factory cab lights. If i absolutely have to, i can make a harness up. But i want the install to be as close to a factory quality as possible.
I think there are some at my local yard. I have been planning to get back there so if I see one I'll grab it and I'm sure we can work something out. Where are you?
