oil pan help
I have a 1977 ford f250 with a 351M and I need a new oil pan for it but I found a cheap 400M oil pan on Facebook would the oil pan on the 400M work with my 351M the oil pan on the 400M is off a truck as well 79 f250

I see that all the time on engines that come through the shop where the plating has come off of the steel backing on the cam bearings. Chevrolet, Ford, AMC etc they all do that from time to time. I don't think that it is necessarily caused by mechanical factors I think that it might just be caused by the presence of moisture inside of the engine over time.
