The problem is they aren't anything remotely like rare for a few more decades? 75% of Effie projects are rodded and the supply of donors is replenished for now. Do rodders attend the major events Abe has sold at? I don't know the answer.

Thanks for all your help, guys. I don't even know where I got the brake drums. They are rears, correct?

It is the clutch and tranny parts that are so darn heavy and haven't sold. Now Kevin says I should keep them. I hate throwing away anything in a FoMoCo box! Maybe I will list the popular car and truck parts separately, which I have never done. I've just gone to Carlisle with them. So Galaxies, T-bird, some Fairlanes I can list but not the Econoline stuff!

And I sold the power steering pump to a FTE member.

Van Pelt may be interested in the manual trans parts, if they are in primo shape. Chuck's Trucks may be interested in some of the other stuff.

Maybe sell the stuff to Kevin he says has value? He works hard on his networking and if it is actually valuable he can move it like we never could. If he isn't interested there is your sign. He sells sheet metal for a reason. Autozone isn't selling repop and in some cases the repop is inferior to decent used parts anyway.

I prefer NOS Ford clutch parts. I have experienced bad quality new clutch kits myself, and had friends who also had bad luck. I'd be interested in your parts, except my clutch shelf already is close to overflowing...
I like Ross's suggestion to offer stuff to known vendors.

it looks like you have a nice selection of parts here. I would keep working to sell them because the quality of new parts has gone way downhill. lastly nothing is made in USA , and all parts will get increasingly difficult to get with shipping across the pond challenges. good luck

With in the last year I have sent that printed list to a few vendors. I am not sure if I asked Chuck if Chuck's Trucks would be interested. However shipping 30 pieces of clutch and tranny parts would be very costly.

So I will scrap the brake drums and backing plates.

How about these NOS steering columns? The plus side of keeping them is they are not heavy and do not take up much room.

One thing I did sell this year at Carlisle was a used radiator support. I picked it up when I was fixing up my 54 in 1999. It was listed on Marketplace, no interest. I took it to Carlisle ever since I got it. Recently new ones were selling for $120 and now they are $140 at DC. Each year I kept lowering the price. This year I had it at $60. A guy early the first day offered me $50 so I took it.

are these exhaust manifolds good enough for someone to use? Both have the bolt holes broken and are pitted. The drivers side has bolts in it instead of studs and nuts. Funny thing is these were on my truck until 2016 when I put ones on that were not as pitted and looked better. One was put on when I had the engine rebuilt in 1979. The other may have been on since new. And they didn't leak.

What do you think? I showed one to the owner of the shop that put the studs in the one one my truck now. He said "Sure, we can fix that but it is cast iron and it will be expensive."

In this new endeavor of repainting and restoration of my 52 I found myself suddenly the owner of a lot of old parts, new parts, extra parts, wrong parts. In fact a whole fully loaded 8 foot pick up bed’s worth stacked high! With limited storage capacity and zero interest in keeping any of it. I only allow myself two storage bins worth of parts which is all you need.

i decided to donate all of my old parts to someone as a way of saying thank you. I just drove out to his place and dropped it all off. He was thankful and actually is using much of it.

abe, those manifolds are finished. You need to be able to tighten them down, without the ears that will be hard to do. No idea how to rebuild cast metal.

I wish I knew what clutch is in my F1, it chatters very badly so I need to replace it, and have the flywheel resurfaced. You might have what I need, but I don’t know what I need.
