I've become kind of a Connoisseur of fuel hosing. I noticed this bend in your hose. It doesn't look like much, but judging by the angle of the photo, it might be kinked.
Whenever I have anything greater than a 45 degree bend in my rubber hosing, I just use a section of cheap aluminum 3/8" bendable pipe with a typical automotive pipe bender, and make a custom elbow for 90, 135, or 180 degrees. It ensure that the hose won't loosen up over time and become more kinked.
