I get a vibration when driving. It occurs weather my front hubs are locked in or not. I don't drive on pavement in 4X4 mode so I can't tell if it would happen in that mode also but I think it's coming from something in the rear end. I feel it in the seat mostly. I do have a bad lower ball joint on the front driver side and that will be replaced soon but the vibration is not felt in the stearing wheel. I also checked the passenger side front for play and don't have any.
I also get a clunk when I take off. The cluck is lessened the slower I take off and occurs latter if I'm taking off up hill. I jacked up the back last night and can't really sense a problem with the bearings. I mean the tire doesn't wiggle "much" when I pull on it. I have good fluid level in the tyranny, F/R Diff, and transfer case. What gives??????
BTW, had the Chevy hauled away by some guy who paid me 150 bucks for it. It's worth every penny
Now I have to sell the Plow. Any one want a nice Meyers Plow and mounting kit for a Chevy?

Try changing your universal joints on the rear drive shaft. It's probably the rear joint. They are cheap and relativley easy to install-be sure to watch the needle bearings when installing the new joints! If that doesn't do it, have the rear drive shaft checked, look for dings and or any impact marks......it's a 4*4, so someone could've bottomed out while offroading.
That's the best advice I got!
