Horn Wire

Will someone please tell/show me the wire routing for the horn jumper wire when connecting the passenger side horn to the drivers side horn on a 56 F100. Also, are there clips involved and if so how many? Thanks for the info!

The second horn wire (Deluxe or Custom Cab) passes through the left wind deflector, then is bundled with the headlight/parking light wires. It is clipped (again with the same wires) under the latch panel, then passes back through the right wind deflector through a matching hole.

These clips:

Are mounted through these holes:

Ignore the screws in mine, my wiring is all aftermarket.

Edited to add: Here are the holes in the wind deflectors:

Steering Column

Hi guys.

I have a 53 F100 and assume this question applies to all 53-56 F100s. The wire that runs through the steering column, mine dropped down into the column. I was planned to replace it anyway so I sourced a new one. Inspecting the column, I do not see where the wire exits so that I can snake a wire up to replace the old one. Any suggestions?

Scrape the accumulated crud off the bottom of the column. Be aware that the crud may be filling the opening. It's there.

Where is the proper location for the horns? Mine are located on the inner fender panel to the front. The pictures look like they go on the wind deflectors.

The horns are bolted into threaded holes in the radiator support. Mine are after-market and only have one bolt. The original horns have two bolts.

I've had some progress, found the hole and ran the wire, found the connection on the loom to connect the horn. Now I'm trying to figure out the "order" of the components. In particular, the horn spring (#7 on my image). Does the center of the spring rise to meet the rider or does the center of the horn spring point to the firewall?
