Fuel Rail Removal Help

Anyone have a write up or instructions how to remove the rh fuel rail? I need to remove the valve cover (after loosing coper injector washer) and found instructions for that, but it just says remove the fuel rail, see section ** for instructions but I don't have that section as it was just a pdf out of a manual. As well anyone know if there is anything special I have to do after taking it off to purge the rail of air? Just turning the key on and off like the fuel filter?

This was suppose to be a easy quick replacement of injector #1 and now has turned in major headache. Luckily was able to source all the parts from 4 different places to be able to remove and replace the cover.

after repairs, yes key on and off as normal for the air purge.

You also have to program the new injector into the pcm.

As for the fuel rails, use you tube and search, there should be a video out there to assist with any special tools and how too.

A lot of this stuff is one time use so watch the video first and order the parts.
