2004 6.0 F350 using torque pro, my engine oil temp and coolant temp are less than a degree apart. I did not see any water in the oil when I changed oil this week. throughout comment I see that the temperature is more then 2 or 3 degrees. I read somewhere in a forum that as long as the engine oil temp and coolant temp are not exactly the same, your system is OK.

In a nut shell, drive you truck unloaded for 20 minutes on flat ground at 60 mph, if your oil is within 15°F you are good.
Also, you should do what is referred to as a cold soak for the temp setemps. Let the truck sit for 12 + hours and verify thar the oil and coolant temp are within 2°F.

Just to be clear, Moto means that you confirm the sensors are within 2d before you start it, and they should be approximately the ambient temperature at that time. Making sure your sensors are working correctly.
