NADA pricing guide shows this;
And, it should look like this;
Will be checking around with different dealers, someplace that will at least accept the X-Plan.
Going to first try the dealer group that I bought my RAM through.
Currently stashing cash away for the down payment like a squirrel collecting nuts for the winter.
Don't want to string the payments out for more than 36 months if I can possible help it.
I want the big power engine and the 10-speed, neither of which they offer in a RAM 2500, no 10-speed at all of course.
Plus, they stopped offering the RAM in a 2WD Mega cab and the back seat area is LOTS smaller in the Crew cab RAM than the Ford.
I need as much back seat room as possible, I use it as a sleeper while I'm on the road.
I will have to ask, but assuming I can. Was trying to decide on color and missed that part.
You’ll love the heated steering wheel. Would miss that if I didnt get it.
To bad you cant get LED headlights
Not sure I follow all of this.
You can get the LED light package, but you have to get the Ultimate package to be able to spec them, just can't justify the extra $$$.
My RAM has the heated wheel, and I would definitely miss it.
Well, have put out some inquiries to a few local dealers, waiting to hear back.
Anybody check NADA values lately?
My current truck's value there has gone up a couple of grand over the last time I checked a couple of weeks ago, and it was really high back then!
Would really be great if I could get anywhere close to this when my new truck gets here.

Yes I remember your story hauling RV's and your radiator failure was the last straw with Ford not covering it.

Yeah, lots of stuff went wrong on the 2012, but the engine never had an issue.
But, my dad's 2013 went 500K without any serious issues, and he wasn't much for meticulous maintenance like I am.
And, as far as I can tell, Ford has improved on the issues that caused me pain on my 2012.
So, going to give Ford another try.
Well, got a response back from one dealer, Tomball Ford, Tomball Texas, and they are taking the X-Plan.
At first, the salesman, Jorge Lopez, was saying they would only come off MSRP by $2K, so X-Plan is better than that.
He will be sending me a sales order confirmation with pricing for me to sign and return.
X-Plan puts it at $61,605 selling price, MSRP is $65,285.
Jorge tells me they've only ordered a few 2022 Super Duty's so far, but they have plenty of allotments available.
The other dealer I've contacted, who is part of the dealer group that my RAM came from, hasn't gotten back to me after the initial emails we swapped, guess they aren't so hot for the business.
Well, Jorge works quickly!
When I talked to him earlier, he said he had more emails to answer and calls to make so it would probably be tomorrow before he emailed me the order sheet to check over, but he sent it a little bit ago.
One thing I noticed is that his sheet shows base MSRP is $250 higher than what is on the various websites around that are showing 2022 pricing.
Will have to ask him about that.
