Wipers

Does anyone out in the world know of some wipers that are a little more industrial strength then the repops ? I was wanting the whole arm as the new ones are not real stout. If I could find some old stock that would work. More than likely will not drive much in the rain but would like to have something better. Just started looking so we will see.

I had the same problems with cheap aftermarkets.. I finally went with Wesco arms with the "U" shape arm and Bosch blades...

How is that even happening to you John? You wearing them out at the car wash?

as soon as I put the repops on I was unhappy with them... actually before that... I put the blade on the repop stock arm and walked 6 feet to the truck, the blade fell off before I got to the truck. They were crappily made and flimsy.
I've got two sets of stock repops if anyone is interested... I'll make you a deal.

and DeWayne... you know my truck will never see a car wash

I bought my chrome repops from a vendor at Wisconsin Dells "Dash to the Dells" show about 18 years ago. They are still fine though light duty. They'd last 30 minutes in an Iowa snow storm if my truck ever saw such foolishness, but they are fine for the occasional rain. No wild idea what major vendor actually sold them back then so my comments are worthless.

Hey John,

Let me ask you something. You are still using the stock wiper transmission correct? The Wesco arms are splined for the stock wiper transmission(linkage) is what i am trying to confirm.
