I had my truck painted and the body shop lost the springs in the wiper arms. I thought new ones might be a good idea anyway, but I'm finding that wiper arms for our beloved trucks are now "dealer parts".
What do you guys use? I'm looking more for performance than restoration. Do you know of any aftermarket wiper arms and blades that work really well? I went to our local NAPA store, but they didn't have anything.
I went ahead and ordered new arms from AutoKrafters, but I'm open to other options. The stock arms and wipers never really did work all that great.
Do you have to drill out the top rivet to separate the blade holder part from the arm? It looks like there is a tab that's spring loaded, but pushing in the tab or pulling out the tab and trying to separate the pieces doesn't seem to be working out.
