Rusted Coil Bolts
Got a question to see if anyone has an answer. I have changed the spark plugs in my 2013 F150 and while removing the coils, I rung off 3 bolts that were rusted in. I tried to apply heat and WD-40 to break them loose, but nothing! The only thing that happend is the bold on cylinder 5 now spins. The only saving grace is they are on 5, 6, and 7, which are fairly easy to get to. Has anyone had this issue and what did you do to solve this problem. I went ahead and changed the plugs and put the coils back on and driving the truck right now, but I'd really like to have it fixed before I head out of town this weekend. Thanks!
