OEM bumper question

I have a set of take off OEM bumpers that I had sprayed with linex to replace my chrome bumpers. Question is, are the plastic upper pieces meant to be moved over to new ones, or should I just get new ones?????

Will they get ruined taking them off the old bumper

I've seen them moved from one bumper to another successfully.
I would wonder if the bedliner material might interfere with the fit though, they are made to fit fairly tight to the original surface.

I thought about that, however I lined the bumpers on my old 2500 Ram and the rear one had the plastic. It was tight, but went in fine and clicked...
