1968 F100 Engine Upgrade
I want to replace my 240 six cylinder with a 1984 300 six cylinder. The truck was parted and the transmission sold before I knew of it but the new jasper engine with 45k was still for sale.
will this 300 mount to my 1968 manual transmission or will I need to find a newer transmission? I don’t want to run into issues that make me wish I had not started the project.
I understand that I will need another distributor
and was told that the bell housing may not mount up.
