Possible temp gauge issue

Howdy I run a 1994 Ford F-250 idi factory turbo and o was wondering where my gauge should be sitting ove read a few post on here that say within the normal range is good but mine isn’t there it always reads cold bit not as if it’s broken cause it always is bobbing almost into the very beginning of the normal range and I’m wondering what to test or what to look for first or if I’m worrying over nothing thanks ahead of time for any help

If the gauge never gets above the "Normal" range I wouldn't worry about it. The factory gauges are notoriously lousy. If you're concerned install an aftermarket gauge. I got an analog AutoMeter coolant temp sensor and my 6.9l stays around 190-200* unless it's quite hot outside.
