Hello all I just purchased a 2017 F250 xlt with factory fog lights. I’m certain when the wife and I were looking over the truck we checked every bulb and the fog lights worked. I had the dealer install the Ford plug and play remote start before I picked the truck up. Last night was the first time I drove in the dark and although I have the dash light that says they are on there is no power to the plugs for the bulb. Is it possible the dealer inadvertently turned something off while they programming the remote start? I’ll call them Monday but wondering if it’s even possible.
I also do not see a fog light enable or disable in the forscan spreadsheet only see how to make the fogs stay on with high beam.
You're certain it's a OEM remote start? Just asking as the aftermarket, no honk remotes tie into your headlight switch behind the panel where the switch is mounted. The plug might not have got snapped in completely.

Damn well better be lol I can look after work but installed at the Ford dealer and the owners booklet that comes with it says Ford. They did say being an early’17 they had to add an antenna and has issues programming it. Still was all plug and play according to the General Manager. If I can switch it back with forscan that’s fine but I don’t see that info on the spreadsheet.
Can't help you there. When I did my aftermarket it plugged in to one of the harnesses behind the switch panel so the running lights would blink instead of the horn honking when you do the lock, unlock, lock sequence to start.
Ok after getting forscan and checking stuff out they are enabled. With a better test meter it appears I have no ground to the fog light circuit. I do have power. Any tips on where to check for a corroded ground.
Any chance you are trying to turn them on in the daytime with the headlight switch in the Auto position? There isn't any place I can see where they could have left something unplugged and not affected a lot of other items. The headlight connector (C205) has many circuits running through it. The fog lamps come off pin 14, a 22 gauge grey/violet wire.
The ground is #131 and is located under the passenger headlight. It routes to the fog lights via a 16 pin connector, C134, pin 14 - a black / grey wire.
C134 is located on the driver side up front underneath. I've circled both locations in the picture below.

this will help a ton! After going thru forscan and looking around the remote start appears no not be a factor. I have tried all ways of turning them in when I noticed it is was dark and I was in my way home. Messing around yesterday is when I found I had power but not a ground. Pulled the connector near bumper apart found corrosion and thought I had found the problem. But I didn’t. I’ll track back to the connector by the headlight and check for corrosion or a pinched wire there.

where is the headlight connector? Do you mean the actual connector that goes into the headlight? At the truck now taking it apart.
I think you're going down a wild goose chase. The fog lights are probably switched on the ground leg by the computer. Hard to say without a wiring diagram though since I don't have that. Maybe someone round here does?
If it was working when you picked it up, Duke it out with the dealer? I'm usually one to just fix it myself,, but you're chasing a needle in a haystack without without diagram..

no wild goose chase the wire diagram fixed me right up! After tracking the wires with a circuit tester I had ground up until the plug. But not in the bulb side. After removing the rubber meant to seal the wire I found the wires barely hanging on. Both sides. The drive home then following drive to camp must have done them in. Thanks for the help! The harness for the lights itself is not very long if I have any farther trouble I may just order the harness.

The circuit goes as follows: +12VDC from battery --> BJB --> Fuse 48 & Fuse 50 --> BCM --> Fog Lamp filaments --> Ground.

Would you happen to have the diagram my plugs are cut off and there is three wires coming from body harness two wires to drivers side and 4 going to passenger side makes no sense
