2003 6.0
Took my 03 6.0 from NY to Florida and ended up losing injector 5. It had a p0275 code. It’s just hit 200k miles and assuming the rest of the injectors are on their way out. It was pouring black smoke at idle and while accelerating. Found a shop to take care of that injector while we were in Florida and on our way back home I’m seeing black smoke again just as we got to Virginia. It’s not smoking at idle or throwing any codes this time. Just blowing black on hard acceleration.
Hoping to make it back to Rochester NY tomorrow. I’m going to get this thing all setup once we get home. Think aside from studs, I want to do at least 190 injectors and a KC stage 2 turbo. What else should I do other than stands and dummy plugs etc. Remote oil cooler or new stock? Egr cooler upgrade or delete? New oem water pump or upgrade? I’m going to do a 4” turbo back. Should I also consider up pipes?
Lastly anyone know of a reputable shop within a couple hours of Rochester?
