large oil leak location?
I have noticed the underside of my vehicle 02 V8 with 165k is covered in oil and spotting all over the driveway-
I don't see anything obvious and don't know how to locate the leak?
the entire front suspension crossmember is saturated....

Oil filter is screwed on tube. Hex head socket remove tube. One bolt holds oil Cooler to block. Two prints on mine. On 3rd attempt to fix now.common problem

Have a 97 5.0 Explorer. The location you described is behind oil filter. Oil cooler. Orings. I'm on my 3rd attempt to fix major oilleak. My cooler was made 96 & 97 only. Discontinued ... its got two radiator hoses to it.
