Front oil leak

Hello everyone: I was changing oil the other evening in my 2002 F250, 7.3 ltr. and noticed oil around the front of the oil pan. I'm assuming there is a front seal that is giving up. I obtained one of those Hanes manuals and their first step in changing this seal is "remove the engine"! Help! Is there no other way to change this seal, if in fact that is what's leaking? Thank you for any information.

My 2002 7.3L, started leaking from the front of the oil pan at ~35K miles, but would only do it if I parked nose down hill in the driveway, if I parked nose up in the driveway it would not leak. So this is what I did until about 95K miles when it would leak no matter which way I parked it.

Took it in and dealer replaced oil pan gasket. and Yes engine had to be pulled.

I traded it in right after, for truck in my Sig. which has leaked since I got it.
