New ad injectors

Just installed eight ad injectors now I have an intermittent check engine soon light. Doesn’t stay on but it’s annoying. Engine runs great . Could it be because I put an ad injector in #8?

Does the CEL come on when the turbo is producing a lot of boost, say around 25 PSI?

Does the engine defuel a bit then pick back up a short time later?

Might as well read the codes and find out what that CEL is. Your phone, an OBDII dongle, and FORScan Lite will get it done.

Not sure it will stay on long enough to read it . I’ll try it though thanks. Only thing I did different was put injectors in. But runs great.

We've seen a customer's vehicle hold weird injector codes until they disconnected the batteries. Clearing the codes wasn't successful. Worth a shot. Are these new or reman injectors?

Not yet maybe 50. It doesn’t stay on. It will go off for a bit. Only stays on a few seconds at a time .actually maybe only 20 miles

FORScan will capture pending codes, even if the CEL does not stay on. Interested to see what you find. Great that it runs well.

Probably injector high/low circuit. Run it hard for another 50 miles.

Great news!

We usually recommend at LEAST 50 miles of "spirited" driving in order to clear the air out of the system. We like to see upwards of 100 miles though. Rosewood is a solid shop and a good choice for injectors, you've done well.
