I’ve already received my order confirmation E-Mail. I’m hopeful Ford will continue to keep me informed throughout the process via E-Mail sent directly to me. Has anyone received anything other than the initial order confirmation E-Mail?

 

I placed my order on March 28, but I never got the confirmation e-mail. I asked the sales guy, and he gave me an order number and confirmed my e-mail was correct.
Could it make a difference that I ordered through the fleet manager?

 

I ordered May 10 and the salesman sent me Ford's confirmation sheet to the dealership yesterday evening (14th), but I haven't received an email from ford.

 

You all might as well relax till the chip shortage gets corrected. The emails and proposed dates mean nothing at this time.

 

I’d give it until Monday, but if you don’t receive your order confirmation email directly from Ford, tell your dealer to make sure to put “your information in the “pop up box” in the WBDO order input screen”.

 

This is not about being stressed or relaxed. This is about Ford putting in place a method to notify their customers directly on the status of their orders along its various stages. Maybe you wouldn’t get any benefit from this, but I am encouraged that I will receive an automated email at these 4 critical stages in the process.

 

Got my initial email about an hour after the order was placed. Not expecting the next until August or September.

 

I hope sooner, but you may be right. Again, this isn’t about timing, it’s about a new method for customers to be notified of process.

Ordered May 3rd and no email at all.

 

Never heard of this or got an email.

 

I’d start with your dealer’s rep. and make sure that your email address was entered when ordering. I received my initial order confirmation email within hours of my order.

 

My Confirmation Email came in May 8th in the morning which was a Saturday. Its the only email I've gotten.

 

I contacted my sales guy and he said none of the 2022 super duty orders have been scheduled yet but he’d send me confirmation as soon as they have.

 

The person who orders at my dealership is a long time friend and I asked them to enter my info. They did it late this afternoon and I received my email from Ford (confirming the order) shortly after.
