Ok so has anyone else noticed a big time delay in the audio when watching a video and having the sound playing on the trucks stereo via Bluetooth? I watch a lot of movies at work while in the truck and in my last truck it was really nice to just have the sound play over the truck speakers.
Well I tried this today with my 2020 F350 Platinum and the delay was unbearable. At least a few seconds.
Don't know of a fix, but know exactly what you're talking about. Was waiting on a Dr appt with my daughter and thanks to covid, they had us wait in vehicle. Sound was so off, that I shut off the stereo and just kept watching the show with her on my phone.
What I have found is my iPhone when plugged in with the USB cable is perfectly synced with audio/video, but if I use my iPad the audio is delayed to the video.
In my case its a laptop so I dont think that will work.
Curiosity got me and I dove down the google rabbit hole on bluetooth audio lag. I'd recommend looking deeper into a computer side fix. Seems like people are having issues with run of the mill bluetooth headphones lagging as well on windows 10 laptops.
I did see one solution mentioned, but buyer beware, some of the folks were able to fix the issue was by disabling the "bluetooth personal area network" under the network adapter section of the device manager.
Again I'm no computer expert, so do your due diligence before making any changes to your computers settings.

Thank you kindly for the info! I will look into this.
Update on this, I took the easy way and just bought a Bluetooth FM transmitter and it actually works great. Zero delay when watching things on my laptop and I like how I can still have my phone hooked up for taking calls.
