A couple of months ago my son was driving my 98 F-150 4WD and ended up in a multi car accident. The insurance company was paying for the repairs until they got the bill for a core support and elected to total it. I received a fair amount and then began the search for a replacement.
Long story short, it has taken me months to find the replacement (I have very specific needs)! This past Friday I found this and wrote a check!
I definitely need running boards soon so my wife can get in/out without help. More pic's to follow.
After we brought it home I found an odd remote hanging on the visor and pressed a button to discover air bags in the rear. I guess he either towed a trailer with a heavy tongue weight or maybe heavier loads in the bed. I also discovered when they handed me the keys a Ford remote starter! Love that on a hot FL day!
I totaled my '97 F-150 2 years ago this past February. Took me more than a year to find the used vehicle that I wanted. I can't stand the "U" shaped headlights on the newer trucks so it had to be a '14. I've already got 2 8-passenger SUVs (Excursion and Expedition) so I didn't want a rear seat and insist on an 8' bed. A standard cab, LWB with an 8' bed is a work truck. I wanted someone's daily driver, not a beater. Finally found something that was really close to what I wanted and pulled the trigger. Wishing it was a bit more decked out, but beggars can't be choosers!

Finding the right truck this year is like finding a needle in a pile of needles! Chip shortages have slowed new car production and the used market has gone wild with limited stock and higher prices! To even find a truck with a budget in mind sets you back these days!
