1999 Ranger wiper switch modification
I have a 1999 Ranger short bed 2wd 3.0 FF auto. It doesn't have power windows, a tachometer nor cruise control. It has ~ 140k miles on it that runs really well including the AC works. It was in a flip over accident and DID NOT damage the frame or any under carriage components. It drives really well.
I also have a 1954 F100 in need of Everything. It is in poor shape. Both trucks are within 1/3 of an inch wheelbase. The tracking width is very close. I'll try not to get in to too much detail about the overall swap. Just Electrical/Mechanical questions about the Ranger.
I am keeping the stock 1954 dash, instruments etc. From later model Ford vehicles I have found a ignition switch, headlight switch with floor mounted high/low head lamps. I need a wiper switch hopefully from a Ford vehicle that Dash mounts that I can integrate to the 1999 Ranger wiper wiring. I have studied a few Ranger wiring diagram but don't totally understand how the switch functions, number of wires so on and so forth.
Does anyone have any ideas, cross generational, cross model, that might work? I'm trying to keep the Ranger 5 pin wiper motor.
This a picture of the wiper and turn signal switch connector. Does anyone know which part is for the wiper switch?
