Hi All, new to the forum and could REALLY use some help.
Ive got an e4od (in a 97 F53) showing codes 621, 622, 624 on the KOEO test. Ive checked the wiring harness and I'm getting 9.5 volts when measuring voltage from 12v hot to pin on Sol 1, Sol 2, and Electronic Pressure Control circuit. Other pins (which are not showing a code) are showing 12v.
My question is, should I get 12v when reading +12v pin to Solenoid 1 Pin, and 2? I've chased all my wiring and have yet to find any issues at all!
So I replaced the solenoid pack connector and the codes persist. I have noticed that code 621 is a bit intermittent. It will show sometimes and not others.
It is much more likely to be a wiring harness problem than a PCM problem.
Try measuring resistance from the PCM connector to the trans connector. Unplug the harness on both ends when doing this, and probe the BACK of the connectors, not the end that makes the connection. I'll bet there is high resistance in the wires to the solenoids that have codes.
