Brake upgrades
No trailer brakes then no. Just because he has bone it before does not make it legal.
Have a crash, your fault or not and they find out the trailer brakes did not work and you could loose everything.
If you have the bucks for a race car you got money for trailer brakes or dont go racing!
I hate to be that way but the life you save might be mine or my family.
I have not used my car trailer in 6 years.
My F100 is a back up and I installed a controller as it is the right thing to do.
And yes I will go over my trailer before I need to use it, I know it will need tires because of age of them.

I see those years have 12.56 rotors so thatll be about 1.5 extra on the rotors and dual piston calipers, and i believe i found a kit to get rear disc in the back with jb6 calipers i believe.
Are the f150 and f250 beams, radius arms, mounts and everything the same just the f250 stuff beefier?? I saw someone wanted drop beams and someone said they could use the 90s stuff to achieve that but would need everything since they use ball joints vs king pins i believe. But that was for f150 parts.
You know someone has to be a first LOL
Yes I have seen it posted on the later 150 psrts bolting to early trucks.
This is for 2 reasons, you get rid of kingpins (80-83 trucks) for ball joints & they say better brakes IIRC.
Don't know what is better about them?
