Welcome Scott !
We are back from vacation. I got a job offer to be the Service Manger for the local Kubota dealership last Monday evening before we left for vacation. I dropped my 2 week notice at CAT yesterday morning. Very excited at not turning wrenches anymore, it's more money and a lot closer to home.
Chief think you can get me a deal on a new tractor? (HA HA). Replaced the water pump one one of the kid's Silverado today. No problem until I go test drive it after I get done. It's skipping like a three legged dog. I call Josh to ask him about it and his answer is "it's been doing that for six months, you mind looking at it?" I'm like it would have been nice to know before I started on it. But oh well, I'll get into it out this weekend. Hope everybody is doing good. I can't wait for our vacation in July. Need to get away from the coast for a bit.
I got my second COVID shot yesterday, so far no reaction. I had almost 40 hours at work so I took today off.
I need to fire up the 79 and take it for a spin around the block, it's been a while.
Morning Chief! Took the jeep out riding yesterday on some of the old trails we rode years ago. I had forgotten how much fun it was just to be in the woods. Really like the Liberty, fits perfect on the side by side trails (fire breaks). Just need to lift it a couple of inches and a little more aggressive tires, but not bad on street tires. Parts should be in tomorrow for the son's truck so i hopefully will have it done tomorrow night.
Friday I had 3 trees cut down in our yard, 2 would have fallen on our power line, the other one more than likely would have fallen on either the house or our vehicles.
While the tree people were working I got my motorcycle out of the basement and cleaned it up. I also cleaned up our golf cart. Started doing some spring cleaning of the basement. I have let it go for too long.
Big boss called me into his office on Monday and said since business is slowing down and I was retiring, (he didn't know I got a new job) to just consider this to be my last day. Yesterday I took my trailer and picked up my tool box and turned in my uniforms. Going to be nice to have all my tools back at the house again. I start my new job tomorrow as a Service Manager for the local Kubota place.
Hey Y'all, how's everybody doing? Had to go out to my brother's place today and cut grass for him. Only took me three and a half hours, not bad for just under 4 acres. But I do need a better seat, my a** is killing me. Finished up Josh's truck yesterday. ( water pump, tune-up, and the oil consumption TSB for the D/S valve cover) Hoping to get started on the 95 F-150 of his next week or so. Got to replace some sheet metal on the front and replace the fuel pump in the front tank. Also getting ready to remodel the kitchen for the wife. Hope everyone has a good Memorial Day weekend. Y'all stay safe

Rezvani's Latest Post-Apocalyptic Monster Is a Ford F-150 Raptor Underneath
Started my new job on Thursday and they needed help really bad. Short on Techs and behind on everyone's repairs. I spent most of my day fixing rental machines so they could go out over the weekend and I didn't have anyone to repair them. I jumped into a hornets nest this time. Once I get the techs on track and caught up it should not be that bad. The whole place needs a good clean up too.
