How was everybody's weekend? We spent ours working around the house, but it was peaceful. Went to our daughter's Memorial Day and had a good time with the grandkids.

 

I am searching for a good fabricator in the N GA. Upstate SC area that can create some panels with compound corners in them. Thanks in advance

 

Sorry I didn't start a new thread earlier, Been trying to get my mechanics squared away at my new job and working on the house at night.

 

No problem Chief, been there before. I've just got extra time on my hands so I don't mind

 

I had a new heat pump installed last week for the house and it works so dang good, didn't realize how crappy the old one was.
Pulled the trigger and put a deposit down on a cruise to the Bahamas for June of next year. Our cruise last year got cancelled because of COVID.
I have a ton of home fix up stuff I am going to try and knock out this weekend. Got to keep the wife happy.

 

I got a ton of stuff completed around the house, took me all weekend but the wife is super happy. Still have some painting that needs to be done outside but I might pay our friend to do it. He could use the money and I'm getting burnt out.

 

We went and cleaned out a storage unit for the neighbors, and I bought his old Dodge truck. It needs a motor. May fix it then flip, probably just flip it not sure yet.

 

I ended up taking my toolbox to my new job because they are so far behind on repairs I am turning wrenches too. We are slowly getting caught up but now a tech is leaving. We are already one tech short so this is not going to be good.

 

I did that at every shop I managed. Never knew when I would have to be in the shop helping out. And you know how some techs are, always looking for "greener grass" but don't worry Chief it'll get better. I went and cut my brother's place again today, swear I got to puta air seat on my mower. It's like riding a buck board. My oldest step-son is suppose to finish taking the dead pecan tree down Saturday, so I'll probably have plenty if anybody wants to come get it.

Ordered the CPlay2Air device for the truck for wireless Apple car play. Will be here this week, will let ya know how it works.

 

Slowly getting caught up at work, being short 2 techs is still a real pain. I have one guy that calls everyday to ask the status of his machine. I inherited a real mess.
The honey do list at home is getting a little shorter. I have one more room to put 1/4 round molding in and I need to paint the railing around the pool deck. Some other odds and ends but the railing is the most labor intensive.

So I have 3 options on the topper
cut it up and get rid of it,
sell it (if it will sell)
sit on it, and modify it to go on the short bed, its era correct, its a century brand, and I can sling glass work easy to make this fit and look good.

Yall have an opinion??
