Alright so my truck recently hasn’t been getting any boost. The code reader says it’s and actuator problem so it’s not sending a signal to the truck therefore the turbo isn’t running. But what I’m fearing is that since I have an S472 borgwarner that maybe the veins could be all screwed up and the turbo might be junk. Has anything like this happened to y’all?
Year/engine of the truck? What else has been done to it?
We don't know your truck, we don't know what's been done to it, we need more info than what you've provided or we have no way of helping you solve your issue.
Go back to your original post. “Code reader says it is an actuator problem”. Your words. Have your verified whether the actuator is or is not working.
Seems to me that would be the first logical step. If it is not working, of course the turbo won’t give you any boost.

With the key off see if you can manually move the actuator from one extreme to the other, if you can’t move it at all or very little then the vanes are stuck ( small chance the actuator is stuck). If you can move it by hand, get someone to turn the key on while you watch the actuator, it should do it’s self test and move from one extreme to the other and when it stops you shouldn’t be able to move it(with the key on).
If you can move the actuator with the key off and with the key on, check the electrical plug going to the actuator, it may have come unplugged or has broken wires.
Hold up a second. S472 turbo as in a single S472 turbo setup? Not a factory turbo setup? If so, that Borg Warner turbo has no VGT actuator which could explain the code.

I don't remember enough about turbos, so good catch. If OP has replaced the dual-VVT turbo setup with a single non-VVT turbo, but didn't tune for it, then it will throw an actuator code. It should still be creating boost unless the waste gate is stuck open, which would bleed off any boost that is being created.
This is also why I said we need more info in my first response - without knowing everything that's been done to it we would be guessing at how to fix it.

And a large part of the reason for my smartazz sig! LOL!
