Happy thirsty Thursday Nor Cal.
Took my brother's Stratus to a local Air condition repair shop and it only cost $94 to have it fixed. Seems it had no Freon in it. Makes sense, since my brother lived in the mountains of Oregon. Heater was more important to him I would imagine, and the heater works great. Going to take the Ranger there tomorrow and see if I can get lucky with that one too.
Yes indeed. It just needed a Freon recharge. If the Ranger is going to cost more, I will tell them not to do it. And just drive the Dodge in the heat. I'll get it fixed eventually, but not right now. Of course, if they say it just needs a recharge, then I'll have them do it. It is easier for me to get in and out of the Ranger, than it is the Stratus. However, the Stratus is in better shape, and rides a lot smoother than an unloaded half ton pick up. LOL
Well, it looks like the Ranger is going to be a PITA to get the AC fixed. Took it in yesterday, and while checking the wiring, he noticed the relay was cycling off and on.It was an oddball design so he asked if I would get one at Napa. I checked my nearest O'Reilly's and they had one but had to order it. Came in this morning. I connect it, and it is doing the same thing. So, I will go back Tuesday morning and have them do more diagnostics. However, I have a feeling it will not be worth it. Especially since the AC works fine in the Dodge. I'll just drive that when it is hot.

Rezvani's Latest Post-Apocalyptic Monster Is a Ford F-150 Raptor Underneath
Old habit of mine is to shop for groceries at night. The night shift at a supermarket is usually staffed with people the manager doesn't want on day shift, interaction with "regular" customers. Which is where I fit in, as I'm not "regular". And maybe people in the day time would rather not interact with me.

I like to shop under the cover of darkness myself. LOL
