column shifter

Does anyone have information on the possibility or the existence of a 5 speed column shifter?

I’m currently planning a project that will involve a 1993 F-150 4X4.

I’m wanting to keep the interior as clean as I’m able. A newer 5 speed manual transmission connected to a column shifter is very appealing to me.

Currently in the planning stages so any information can only help.

Does not exist. That would be a linkage nightmare going down the column to the firewall and then to the top of the transmission

Go for a 6R80 swap. You can be down to a column shifter with a toggle switch built in!

Oddly enough, Early Econoline vans had 4 on the column shifting, if you ordered the 4 speed option, trans code F. I think the trans would have been a Dagenham unit.
