Does anyone have information on the possibility or the existence of a 5 speed column shifter?
I’m currently planning a project that will involve a 1993 F-150 4X4.
I’m wanting to keep the interior as clean as I’m able. A newer 5 speed manual transmission connected to a column shifter is very appealing to me.
Currently in the planning stages so any information can only help.
Thanks
I'm not aware of any such beast existing. I don't even know how you'd make it work, as pretty much every 5-speed transmission I'm aware of are internal shaft style, rather than external shift linkage like a Toploader or Muncie.

Thanks I was hoping for a "well they did it in hollywood must be real". I'll keep researching options.
Oddly enough, Early Econoline vans had 4 on the column shifting, if you ordered the 4 speed option, trans code F. I think the trans would have been a Dagenham unit.
