i have a factory 1990 f150 4x4 i have 31/10.50/15 on factory rims the only issue i have with the tires is that they rub so if you put the 2 in wheel spacers you should have no issues with any rubbing and you shouldnt need to put a lift on it mine has no lift

Your issue is getting the front end realigned properly with those spacers. The Twin I-Beam front end on these trucks are not easy to lift/lower without adjustable bushings to correct the camber/caster.

You can run 31 10.50 with no lift. For raising or leveling the front, I suggest leveling coils that raise the front about 2 inches or slightly less. Anything more than that and you need drop brackets for the I beams. Suggest new coils over spacers.
