I have BFG KO2 on my Jeep and love them. But they don’t have a 35” tire that fits the factory 18x8 rims. So I am looking for a similar tire in another brand that performs just as well and has a quite ride. I want a 35”x11”R18” tire or close enough with no rubbing.
I have been looking at 285/75r18 for my truck, which is essential a 35 x 11.5. I have narrowed it down to:
Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac
Toyo Open Country a/t iii
Falken Wildpeak at3/w
Also interested in what everyone has to offer.
On my old truck I always ran 35" BFG's A/T's until one time when I went to replace them and they were out of stock so I ended up going with some 35" Toyo's Open Country A/T's they seemed just as good. Have a 2019 F350 and it had 35 x 12.5 x 18's Toyo Open Country M/T tires and some 18" x 9" rims. I like them they are load rated "F" and are a bit stiffer when unloaded but with a load or camper on the back their great. In fact I just ordered another set of the same tires as a buddy made me an offer only existing tires he wants to drop on his baja rig. So instead of throwing them away in a year or so when their times up I get to make a bit of coin, help out a friend and get new kicks to boot. Win win win.Just my 02.
I have the toyo at3s 305/70/17 on my jeep jku. Best tire so far I have put on it. Their web site says they measure 34. Something but they are 35s. This is them beside my sons 35/13.50/20s
I have been running Nitto trail grapplers for about 4 sets. Great tire, quite, comes in several sizes and load ranges. for me it is 295/62R20 load E yes they are a little stiff, but you can air them down when not loaded if you want.
I recently put Falken Wildpeak AT3W 285/75R18 on my 2020 F250. As Peakebrook posted above, 34.8 inch height, 11.3 inch width.
They replaced 325/65R18 KO2's.
Toyo Open County RT. I run 37s, and have been crazy impressed with them. Currently at 65k and still 8/32 remain. A set will be going on my wife's 4Runner in a few weeks.
I purchased a set of BFG TA KO's years ago, before General came out with the AT2's, on an s-series GMC Jimmy. Good tire.
Went with the Generals on pretty much every truck after that, except my Power Wagon (it didn't get them...for reasons). They are an amazing tire, almost identical to the BFG's, and they USED to be considerably cheaper - I think they're only a little cheaper now. Still, I'd buy them again.

I had the Toyo's on my last Duramax. Great tire and wore nicely but HEAVY and zapped my mileage by 2-3 mpg. I have the Duratracs on my 2021 Tremor and they are ok but wander all over the road. I will say that they are pretty damn good on ice and snow. My next set will be the AT3's due to lighter weight and less aggressive tread which will work for 90% of what I need them for.
I had BFG AT KO's on both my Raptors and on other trucks. Great tire but they chunked a lot. Wore well - lasted a long time and did well off road. Not the best in mud or snow.
I have Toyo AT3's on my Jeep Gladiator - 37x12.50/R17 - great tire on and off road and quiet.
Wanted to get them on my F350 but due to Covid out of stock. So I went with their sister company's tires: Nitto Ridge Grapplers - 37x12.50/R20 - so far just as good and quiet - as the Toyo's. Here they are:
