Hello all! Just got a 1985 F150 and wanting to freshen up the interior. I cannot find the scuff plate trim pieces or the “A” pillar trims anywhere. Anyone know of a source for these parts? I’m now guessing a junk yard might be the only place left to try? Thanks.
I thank you sir... yes I’ve ordered the sill plate you sent me the link on but I’m trying to find the “A” pillar trim and the plastic trim piece just below the dash that fits around the fresh air vents. I’m not sure what the proper name is but I’ve always known it to be called “scuff plate” thanks again!

Many thanks for the info Franklin2 and especially for taking the time to help me. Awfully dang nice of you sir.
And thanks to zjtr10 for jolting my memory with the actual name of this part as a kick plate. I’ll call these places & let you know what I find out.
Both parts are in tact but really dirty with the surface almost a crust like surface as if the plastic has broken down/degraded. I’ve ordered some cans of SEM regatta blue & will try to lightly sand the surface. Both A pillar garnishes are toast so I will need both. Many thanks again.
Thanks Dave G. I believe the kick panels are in decent shape, no cracks. I’ve got the drivers side off today and started gently removing the years of dirt & crud off them. I plan on soaking them in dish detergent and lightly scrubbing with a scotch brute to clean without removing the grain if I can. I can’t tell if they are heavily faded or thick layers of dirt. Haven’t tried A pillars yet but they are cracked in several places. Will get some pics up in a few days.
As a follow-up it has been very difficult getting the powdery gunk off of the kick panels and “B” pillar seat belt trim pieces. I’ve resorted to sand them with 400 grit wet/dry
sand paper which resulted in removing the factory grain but will look into the SEM texture product to help trick the eye some and they won’t be smooth. These pieces are
in great condition with the exception of the grime cumulated over the years.
I have found a source for the “A” pillar trim pieces which mine have numerous cracks. I’ve found chuckstrucksllc https://www.chuckstrucksllc.com/pdf/80-96Truck.pdf
that have new “A” pillar trims both Lh & Rh sides ($60.00 ea) which is pretty pricey but I’ll pull the trigger on them soon. They only come in tan color but I already have
the regatta blue sem paint for the other pieces. Anyone done any business / experience with “Chuck’s Trucks LLC” ? Will let you know when they arrive & review them.
Many thanks again for the wealth of info you guys provide.
