Well at first i was gonna tackle this at home and am i glad i didnt!Spent most of the day at my friends mechanic shop installing those boogers.I achieved these from the auction people. The fit wasnt perfect.I had to drill out the holes bigger[V10Stang],trace all the thread holes in the head, about three bolts were impossible to get started, could not get to them.Anyway, big nice power increase, no more exhaust pulsing thing at 2000 rpms, better low end.Best of all it is quieter now, really smoothed the exhaust out.Very nice power increase, yeeh hah!
That should be the same ones, SSAUTOCHROME.I bought copper gaskets from SCE.Was not an easy install.
ps I am very happy with the sound and performance, sound wise it,s like a new truck. Before i did not like chugging around 2000 rpms or below because it sounded crappy, now it has much more power and no more chugging sound. Looking at the stock manifolds one has to laugh.I will store them with my y-pipe and cat.

So what did you end up paying for the headers to your door? I am cheap, and not even sure if I will keep this V10 truck much longer, and have done no other mods to it at all.
However, if a couple hundred worth of mods (under $1k) gets me a slight MPG increase, and noticable power increase, I may be willing to go for it...
305.00 delivered. But they are a pain to install,we barely got some of the bolts in.The bolt holes in the headers had to be opened up.Plus i had to modify a tube on pass side so it wouldnt hit the frame.Overall i a m pleased, the install was a nightmare.Long tube headers probaly are easier to install.I still cant believe how much quieter it is now.Now i need limited slip
I have done enough fab work that enlarging some holes is not a worry, but the point about the headers neading some clearancing to not contact the frame is interesting... mid sharing more detail? thanks

When I said $1k, I was considering a variety of several mods. At $300 for a set of headers, local replacement exhaust for $250 or so, I could get a chip or re-programmer for another $300+/- and it seems these would get me some decent results.
DRM,A hammer fixed the clearance issue. My custom true dual exhaust cost 300.00.I no longer have any stock exhaust component. My truck rocks. You might try a Tuner, I love mine.Again after driving it some more, man this thing has so much bottom end, and no more hammering exhaust pulse thing. I am very happy.

Ok... a little hammering on a chromed header - any damage to the chrome finish?
As for exhaust - no crossover at all, dual cats and dual mufflers too?
