2002 Cluster Lens availability?
Hey Guys I got my cluster repaired by Circuit Board Medics last week and they turned it around right away which was great. The crappy part is I tried to save a few bucks on the new lens for it and ordered it from Tasca parts instead of letting CBM put it on. There was nothing on Tasca's site to indicate it wasn't in stock ready to ship so I ordered it on the 9th and now its the 21st and no sign of it. They said after 5 days in an automated email that it had to be special ordered (presumably from Ford which I could have done myself) and still no sign of it. They told me a couple days ago it was on order but is it? I called my Ford dealer and asked if they could get one sooner and they said 4-5 days which won't cut it. I was hoping to have my Ex going by the weekend but looks like I'll be driving around with a partly disassembled dashboard this weekend. Why is this part so hard to come by? I figured I couldn't be the only one buying this part with SO many of our trucks still on the road.

Well it's a obsolete part, that part hasn't been made in over 10 years. The only warehouse that has stock is the Memphis DC which is why there is a delay, there is 129 available so when those are gone they are gone. Most parts for these trucks are on borrowed time when it comes to genuine parts.
