Radio Sync question
I noticed my radio was slow to respond for a few days. It was touch the screen and it took 3 or 4 seconds to get the "beep" and things change.
I started poking around the different menus and under automatic updates found its downloading update. Ok no problem I will just give it
some time. Well its been a week and the progress bar has not advanced past the 50% or so it was at when I found it. I am not sure
what the update is or what I can do to get it to finish or just clear it out. I tried getting the truck on my wifi and left it sit 15 min running
while on wifi with no change. Connected my phone and spent a couple hours on road no change. After looking it seems I have the
current Sync 3.4 build 20136. I have not tried any updates or loading any software via USB or anything its as it was when I got truck.
This is the file name it shows its working on.

It sounds like it is trying to update the maps, although that may be another file. That is why I have auto-update turned off on mine. If it doesn't come back you can try to reset the radio.
To do a soft reset: Hold down the Power button and the Right Seek button for at least 5 seconds. If that doesn't work you can try putting it in Diagnostics Mode: Hold down the Eject button and the Right Seek button for 10 seconds.
If that doesn't work, unhook your battery cables for a few minutes (you will lose your settings).
