87 Bronco brake lines

87 Bronco brake lines

Just bought an 87 yesterday and the brake lines from proportioning valve to the rear are rusted through. Ford does not have them anymore--anyone know where I can find lines that long so I don't have to piece it?

I had a similiar issue. I found a place that could fabricate the one I needed for me. Call your local parts store and see if they know of anyone, or do the junkyard thing.

I'd try a local Big Rig shop. They will sell you brake line w/o fittings in lengths of up to 12 feet. I bought my line there to do all of the lines for the 74 VW Beetle that I'm still restoring. It cost $25 for 12 feet. And I'd NEVER suggest getting brake parts from a junkyard. If yours are bad, chances are that the ones in the yard will go bad soon.
