Lower radiator hose

Got a small leak in my lower radiator hose so I値l be replacing that soon. Anything else I should take care of while I知 there? Coolant was flushed last year so I値l probably collect it and reuse it. Maybe this will make it easier for me to reach that oil pressure sender switch?

You could always try flushing the dirt build up out of the coolant reservoir if your looking for something to do.

Might as well since I知 replacing the hose. Just wasn稚 sure if there was anything else I may have overlooked before I order parts, like a new thermostat.

Got to see where a guy who, like you, was going to change the thermostat when he replaced the hoses which was a good idea. He broke the bolts getting the housing off and broke the upper hose connector as well. He was lucky I had one to fix his truck with and was able to get the broken bolts out.
There is an old saying about don't fix it if it ain't broken for a reason.

According to the carfax when I bought the truck, around 2013 the original owner put a new water pump on the truck when it had around 20k miles. It has 32k miles now, so should I just replace the hose and forget the thermostat?
