2011 Navigator lower radiator hose

Just changed the radiator on the Navigator. The lower radiator hose is made differently. You slide it on the neck on the radiator and it has a little slot it goes into and then a medal clip to hold it on. Maybe a compression fitting??? We cannot get it to stop leaking. Just wondering if there is a trick to getting it back on there securely? Thanks

Are you supposed to turn it 45 degrees after you install it?

I think this one is different. The older ones were that way. I have a new hose coming.
