I'm not very good at detailed threads on what's being done to my truck, but I made a comment in another thread about some low buck plenums I found online. They showed up quick layed flat and the bolt holes all lined up, for under $100 I'm not sure I could have expected any better.
Seller was siliconehosehome quality was better than expected, welds look good no issues with install end hole was notched and milled down to still use the front passenger side bolt. There are several vendors selling the same units .
I'll finish putting evening else back on today and update when it's completed.
Thanks for the info. With my recent project I was seriously considering picking up some of these plenums, but I couldn't find much feedback on the Chinese versions. Irate's version are close to $250 and Riffraff's are $300+. Didn't have the coin for that, but was scared to be the guinnea pig on a set of Chinese for less than $100. Perhaps if timing was right and I saw your post I might have gone your route. I don't think mine are leaking, but I don't know for sure. If I find they are I'll look forward to your continued feedback on these....
Mating surface is flat, I thought about making some but for the price I couldn't justify my time investment to make a set.
Pressure tested no leaks, new fuel line seals went ahead and through on a deatschwerks pump to keep up with fuel demand. Done with the truck, till next time.
Are they billet and beautiful NO but you can't see them any way.
They look nice. If I end up getting a leak, I may go the route you did for cost. But mine will get powder coated....lol Thanks for the feedback on these....
