Here's a local Albuquerque, NM auction that I stumbled across.
I'm going to do my best to forget I saw it. There some great stuff but I'm short on fun money and storage space....
They're looking kinda rusty for southwest desert rats, although the blue one does appear to have a bit more promise than the others. The stainless grille trim on that '48 in the bottom pic would be worth the buy in.
They have "patina", that's worth a lot. Clear coat over it and throw in a SBC and you have a $30K truck. All you have to do is find a rich old guy with a 20 year old babe hanging off his arm and you got yourself a buyer. At least that's how it works on the TV shows
LOL...you guys are jerks.
There's tons of tools and other great stuff at this auction. Thats mainly why I'm not pulling it back up.
I'm just going to pretend that I don't know anything about it.......
For those wanting to keep an eye on Bobby's trucks, here's links to their pages. He was holding out on us that the black and white truck in the top pic had a new engine.
That '73 Tow Low camper would be a fun project as a gut job. I expect it's not going to go for much more than scrap value, although I really don't know much about the value of vintage campers.
...After fighting with some bend "C" clamps today, I'm pretty tempted to log in and make some bids.
I'm afraid I'd get "auction fever" and end up buying all sorts of stuff I don't need......I'm just going to pretend its not happening and try to not think about it
