2016 5th Wheel Prep
This is more of an ignorance question.
I'll start by catching you all up... I live in Massachusetts. I bought a new camper in Naples Florida. Figured I would gear up my 2004 F350 to drive down and tug the new girl home. In my lack of planning I discovered that my 04 would not have quite the tow rating I thought it did. It's a V10 DRW. So I am looking for a newer truck.
Found one down in FL, which means I have to drive my car that I am trading down there, trade it in and pickup the new truck. There is a Jaguar dealer in Ft Lauderdale that has one exactly like I am looking for but I am not 100% sure it has the full 5th wheel prep package in it. The person who traded has one of those truck bed sliding boxes in it (Which would be up for sale VERY quickly) along with the A.R.E. Tonneau cover. BUT Back to my original question.
If the "Plugs" are in the bed is it definitive that the 5th wheel prep package is in it for 2016? I am a little confused, there is no handle for the Gooseneck ball. Thought that was part of it.
Any help is appreciated.
The first photo, you see the two large bolts that go through the frame and the two large bolts with nuts on that same piece, that is how the prep kit is installed and fastened to the truck.
The goose neck ball fits into the large center hole. The goose neck ball has a pop up in the center of the ball that lets you slip it into the hole by allowing the retaining ball to recess into the goose neck ball. There are also two different style of attachments that fit into the outer small holes for the safety chains.

Thanks again.
