I’ve never heard of DEF-related deposits until there was a product claiming to combat them.

Wait until you find out about the DEF additive that enhances the product that combats the DEF-related deposits

Does the Ford DEF spout fit the Blue DEF jugs? A 2.5-gallon jug of Ford-branded stuff is only $13 at my local dealer and the convenience of the spout is the reason I buy it from them.

I recently purchased some Napa labeled DEF, 2.5g. It's made by the same company as Blue, the Ford spout fit and functioned perfectly.

my guage fluctuated between 1/2 and 3/4. but yesterday it took a full 2.5 container which brought the level indicator to full with no fluctuation.

Get it from the truck stop at the pump. At least half the price per gallon.

Not really.
Guess it depends on what DEF jugs compared to what truck stop pump price.
Walmart DEF(just as good as any out there) is $6.98 plus tax for a 2.5 gallon jug, sales tax here is 8.25%, so that adds 58 cents, so $7.56 total, or $3.02 per gallon.
Last DEF I bought at the flying j truck stop was $3.19 a gallon(recently had price increase from $2.99), and of course the pump price includes tax.
Now, sometimes you may run across a truck stop that has lower DEF prices, but never have I seen any price that was only $1.50 a gallon, so definitely not half price at the truck stop compared to walmart DEF.

One caveat, walmart is bad about taking returns without checking, so sometimes unscrupulous people will buy DEF, use it and return the jugs filled with tap water, then walmart just puts them back on the shelf.
SO, ALWAYS CHECK THE SEAL ON THE JUGS BEFORE YOU BUY!!!
