I seem to recall reading about this ... My steering wheel media Buttons are acting up. Volume up occasionally activates the M (Media) button and forward/skip sometimes activates the left/back button.
Paddle shifters on a truck is kinda like t!ts on a bull. Pretty useless IMO. Plus the Raptor wheel has that ugly red stripe at 12 o'clock. My wife's Edge has them and they've never been touched.

I agree it's a gimmick, with how laggy our transmissions are in manual mode. That's not why I'm doing the swap. The strip serves a very real purpose for those who actually use their raptor.
I didn’t realize that my wife’s Navigator had paddle shifters until we were driving in the mountains a couple of weeks ago. Once I discovered them, what a difference it made. I could lock the higher gears out the same way I can on my truck. It’s more intuitive with the paddle shifters than it is with the little button on the side of my shifter. As we were driving up the switchbacks she said “I know your having fun, but you’re making me a little nervous. The 3.5 HO is fun at 10-11,000 feet where most other vehicles are wheezing up the grade.

Even without the HO, the turbos make a world of difference at high altitudes. Just the difference between turbo and non-turbo at high altitude is worth the price of admission.

And how many people do you know that actually "use" their Raptor? I bet that number is very low if any.

I think that's irrelevant to my point. Why something exists, and whether or not people use it are not related.
But to answer your question, I know several people who "use" their raptors. Growing up around off road trails and state off road recreation parks has that effect.
