Tailgate Trim Panel
Does anyone know if the trim panel on the tailgate can be added to any tailgate ? I'm not sure what holds them on and if the tailgate has to be designed for it.

I ordered a new King Ranch but I wanted the two tone and you can't have that and get the trim panel. so if I can add it I would.

The tailgates that have the applique have holes for the clips. Also, take a look at what just the applique costs, it might surprise you.

I looked, it did shock me. but I'd do it.

Are they holes I could drill or is it more involved than that ?

My 2 tone KR has the trim panel. I thought it was part of the chrome package....which I have....

Yes I guess I should have said I wanted the painted bumpers. I think the chrome package is the only way to get it.

Mopar guy. mine is a '70 Challenger. I had a '70 RR I wish I still did.

It’s a whole different tailgate, has a inlay where that piece goes.

You don't need to watch much, just the first minute or so of the video.This is a different year but will give you an idea of whats behind the panel.
