Why do the light truck companies not invest in cvt transmission technology.

They are able to be built to withstand the heat and torque. A lot less moving parts. Always in the right gear. And already invented.
And no jarring shifts as some are complaining about with the new 10 speed.
I am heavily involved in the ag industry and this trans is really taking over in my world.
